Afternoon of November 19, the grand ceremony of Shagang has supplied SHI over one million tons product was held around the south gate of flat finished-products warehouse. Mr. Gong Sheng, Mr. Shen Wenming and other Shagang directors with SHI Mr. Park Hyodal, Samsung C&T Mr. Park Hochan, and Samsung C&T (Shanghai) Mr. Yang Hee-Seog participated in the celebration activities.

Korean SHI is a world famous shipbuilding enterprise, its marine engineering and manufacturing ability are both ranking on world top level, also has made great contributions to the international ocean shipping industry as well. Shagang Group is China's largest private steel enterprise who ranks among World Top 500 for seven consecutive years. Initiated in year 2007, both Shagang and SHI adhered to the philosophy and concept of "Integrity and reciprocity, Sincere cooperation and Hand in hand forward" for the Win-win progress. So far, Shagang has supplied SHI over one million tons heavy plate accumulatively.

Mr. Gong Sheng said when we looking back our 9 years' cooperation, no matter how big the changes happened on the market or supply and demand situation, both sides always adhered to the concept of long-term strategic cooperation, and the scope of cooperation were expanding under the guidance of strategic framework agreement. Right now, SHI is one of the biggest and most important clients of Shagang's heavy plate export, while to SHI, Shagang played the same role as the largest and most stable raw material supplier, especially the cooperation on the shipbuilding plate; both sides concentrated on the high-level exchange visits and technical communications with the increasing on cooperation quantity and quality consequently. In 2016, the 3^rd production line of 3500mm heavy plate will be completed and put into operation, then the dimension range of supply can be more expanded, the product quality can be further improved and the manufacturing cost of SHI will be a further decrease.

In Gong Sheng's presentation, he expected that in the next few years, the economic environment will remain in downturn; whether the shipping industry or metallurgy would go forward in hard, please Shagang and SHI adhere to the philosophy and concept of cooperation, go hand-in hand to realize the win-win development.

Mr. Park Hyodal expressed that as the largest private steel enterprise in China, Shagang has gone through 40 years of development and ranked 274 among World Top 500, they congratulated and admired for these achievements. Since 2007, they appreciated that Shagang always offer SHI the competitive price and prime products, did the great job on the SHI's cost competition, please continue to support them as always, and take this opportunity to let the cooperation and development steps to the higher level.

Samsung Property Headquarters Executive Director, Mr. Park Hochan expressed that it's his great honor to be able to attend the celebration activities, Shagang and Samsung communicated smoothly by the technical exchange, achieved mutual development and win-win situation, so that came the milestone of 1 million tons supply. From his speech, we realized that shipbuilding industry also suffered predicament as the steel industry and he hoped to reinforce the cooperative relationship for other more and more one million tons.
