Located in Fushun City of Liaoning Province, Fushun Special Steel Co., Ltd (referred to as “Fushun Special Steel”) was founded in 1937 and listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2000. Fushun Special Steel is a state-level high-tech enterprise with a national enterprise technology center and post-doctoral research station. It now has over 7,000 employees, including nearly 1,000 professionals and technicians of various types.
   Fushun Special Steel has solid technical basis and excellent special smelting equipment, including the imported equipment such as vacuum induction furnace, vacuum arc remelting furnace (VAR), electroslag furnace under protective Ar gas and so on, and the matching forging, rolling, finished rolling, cold drawing, plate processing production lines are complete in all sets, with perfect rear finishing, heat treatment and quality testing equipment. It has undertaken national missions on new material research and development in the long term. Fushun Special Steel always adheres to the development concept of “Making Special Steel More Special”. After years of development, Fushun Special Steel has formed "Three High and One Special" (high-temperature alloy, ultra-high strength steel, high-grade die steel and special stainless steel) as its core products. With the production experience on more than 5,400 designations of special steel material, including high-temperature alloy, ultra-high strength steel, stainless steel, die steel, high-speed tool steel, automotive steel, high-grade machinery steel, titanium alloy, bearing steel and other key products, it has an annual capacity of 950,000 tons of steel and 800,000 tons of rolled products. The products are widely used in aviation, aerospace, nuclear power, petroleum and petrochemical, transportation, construction machinery, medical and other industries and fields, covering more than 30 countries and regions.

Fushun Special Steel has passed certification of ISO9001 system, AS9100 system, IATF16949 system, ISO14001 environmental management system, ISO10012 measurement management system and ISO45001 occupational health and safety system, Nadcap heat treatment. By the end of 2024, Fushun Special Steel has obtained 93 national invention patents and 23 utility model patents and been granted more than 300 national, provincial and ministerial awards.

Fushun Special Steel earnestly fulfills its social responsibilities besides its own development, adheres to the green development concept of environmental protection, cleanliness and recycling, and has built an effluent treatment plant to achieve zero discharge. The revamping projects on dust removal of smelting equipment and on natural gas of various furnaces have been completed; the deep processing and comprehensive utilization of slag have been implemented, and the development strategy of resource conservation and environment protection has been fully implemented.
